Homecoming Week!

So this week has been way tight because it's Utah State's Homecoming Week! There have been activities going on every night; my favorite being street painting that was on Monday night! What is street painting? Well, it is exactly what is sounds like. Every year the clubs at USU get together and paint 7th! Each club is assigned a section of the street, roughly 15 by 15 feet. As ambassadors we got the #1 slot! We were so excited. So street painting is a contest which starts at 10 at night and goes until midnight. You have two hours to block out your design and paint it all! You have to be done by midnight so they can open up the road again from traffic. Unfortunately we didn't win the contest, but we still had an awesome time painting the street...and each other.



Here is a picture of our section when we were ALMOST done. I would say this was about 11:45 p.m. As you can see we have Old Main, looking fabulous with the "A" illuminated at the top. Then we have our lovebirds on top of the block "A" kissing their guts out. Don't forget about the lovely foliage on campus.



Here we are, looking so fashionable in our street painting attire. We have Meg Deck, Jon, Kelsey Burns (HOMECOMING QUEEN), Bill, Me, Matt above me, and Brady. Street painting can get messy, but it is definitely one of the best traditions at USU!
